This summer, hundreds of exhibitors and a gajillion visitors (yes, I fact-checked that!) will be descending upon Comic Con in San Diego (July 22nd-26th)! Penguin is one such brave exhibitor, and your friendly neighborhood Ace and Roc editors, publicists, and marketers (marketeers?) will be manning the fort at booth #1117. Some of your favorite Penguin authors, like Charlaine Harris, Patrick Rothfuss, Kat Richardson, Rob Thurman, Marjorie M. Liu, Jeanne C. Stein and Amber Benson will be making guest appearances at the con (and even the booth!).
Come by and visit us, and we'll make it worth your while, we swear. We'll be handing out great samplers with chapters from six new books, early reading copies of awesome Penguin titles, as well as buttons, bookmarks, postcards, and the must-have fashion accessory of 2009, the new Ace/Roc tote bag. We'll also have a schedule of all our author signings—see below for a full list of attending authors.
Don't forget to check out the What's Up With Penguin? Panel on Friday at 5.30 in room 10 for information on our forthcoming titles. We'll give out super-special ARC's (Patricia Briggs fans, anyone? Just saying...) and also a heaping helping of our signature "humor."
