What do you think is lurking in the dark, hidden recesses of the mind? There's lots going on in mine! And the secret "stuff" in my mind had a lot to do with deciding to write my new series "Sisterhood Of The Sight". It's about a team of four women with psychic abilities, and it kicks off with this month's release: Dark Nights, Dark Dreams.
But let's talk about you for a minute! Do you think you might be psychic? Do you suspect other people could be? Are you game for taking a little quiz to find out?
Here's what to do... Put a number that best fits you next to each question then total up your score.

TOTAL UP YOUR NUMBERS: ______________
If you scored:
15 You're a realist. You only believe in what you can see, touch, hear, or verify by scientific experiment.
16 - 30 You have a touch of the 'sight' but it probably takes a powerful emotion or event to activate it.
31 - 45 You are a Sensitive. You probably have strong and immediate feelings about people and places. Your instincts and sixth sense are active much of the time and can become a lot stronger if you get some training in using them.
46 - 60 You have the Gift of Sight. If you are not a practicing psychic, you could be if you wished to pursue it.
Now why did I ask about the secret abilities you might be harboring inside your mind? I thought you and a lot of readers might have something in common with the heroine of Dark Nights, Dark Dreams whose name is Susan "Sam" Chase. Sam, who is stationed in a war-torn foreign country while working for the U. S. Foreign Service, has spent her life trying to hide her psychic gifts. For one thing, her dreams and mental voices scare her—even though they've saved her life more than once. For another, she feels the world would call her crazy or different or strange. She's never told anyone about her unwanted "gift."
But the CIA knows! As you might suspect, they soon make her an offer she can't refuse: Join a new, top secret team of women, each of whom has, shall we say, "unusual" abilities, or be prosecuted as a spy.
Reluctantly Sam joins with three other women—a witch with a guilty conscience, a voodoo queen who talks to the dead, and an animal communicator with a scary past—to come to Washington DC and tackle the CIA's paranormal case files. And their first investigation is so macabre, so dangerous, and so chilling that none of the women will ever be the same once they begin—especially Sam.
And why "especially Sam"? Because Sam is falling for Investigator Lance "Bear" Rutledge, one of those sexy, Alpha Male-types who make women's beat faster and turn our minds to romantic mush. Unfortunately, if Bear took the test above, he'd score a 15. He doesn't believe in psychics, the paranormal, or anything beyond this world—and that leaves Sam Chase in a tough spot indeed, about to risk getting her heart broken and heading for a damning, terrifying encounter with the dark side when she's plunged into . . .

Hugs to you all, and maybe I'll see you in my dreams,
Savannah Russe
