The new Bond movie
Quantum of Solace hits theaters in November as part of the Ian Fleming Centennial celebration. The book, a collection that includes several stories that served as inspiration for Bond movies, is available now.

Ian Fleming (1908-1964) is the author of fourteen James Bond books. Born in London and educated at Eton and Sandhurst, Ian Fleming became the Reuters Moscow correspondent in 1929. In 1939, he joined Naval Intelligence and served throughout World War II. Much of the James Bond material was drawn directly from Fleming's experiences as an intelligence officer.
Fleming's James Bond books have to date sold more than forty million copies. The Bond films comprise the most successful franchise in motion picture history.
