Kicked off the U.S. tour for the Penguin Paperback edition of Bridget Jones's Diary at Helena Rubenstein Salon. Scores of fans filled the salon (located in New York City's v. tony Soho neighborhood) to hear Helen Fielding read from same. Several lucky women were treated to v. beautiful makeovers, in the style of scenes from B.J.D., from First Day at the Office to The Dinner Party & The Tarts & Vicars Party.
