Open to Continental U.S. residents, ages 9-12

How to Enter:

1. To enter The Raisin Rodriguez Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”), please read these Official Rules and print out the entry form. Include your first and last name, mailing address, age and telephone number. Send completed entry form to Penguin Young Readers Group Marketing, 345 Hudson Street, New York, NY 10014, Attention: Raisin Rodriguez Sweepstakes. Entries must be postmarked by May 24, 2007 and received by May 31, 2007. No mechanically reproduced or computer generated entries allowed. Limit one entry per person.
2. Entries are void if they are in whole or in part illegible, incomplete or damaged. No responsibility is assumed for late, lost, damaged, incomplete, illegible, postage due or misdirected entries.
3. Penguin Young Readers Group Marketing, a division of Penguin Group (USA) Inc. (“Sponsor”) and its subsidiaries, affiliated and parent companies are not responsible for technical malfunctions of any kind which may limit the ability to play or participate, or by any human error which may occur in the processing of the entries in this Sweepstakes. If for any reason the Sweepstakes is not capable of being conducted as described in these rules, Sponsor shall have the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes.

1. From all eligible entries received, one (1) winner will be chosen in a random drawing held on or about June 7, 2007 by Sponsor, whose decisions concerning all matters related to this Sweepstakes are final and binding.
2. Winner will be notified by mail and/or telephone. The odds of winning depend on the number of entries received.

One (1) winner will receive a T-Mobile Sidekick® 3 (Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”): $250.00), and one (1) hardbound copy of each of the following Raisin Rodriguez books written by Judy Goldschmidt: Will the Real Raisin Rodriguez Please Stand Up?; Raisin Rodriguez and the Big-Time Smooch; and The Secret Blog of Raisin Rodriguez (ARV: $40.00). Total ARV: $290.00. The T-Mobile Sidekick® 3 prize shall only include the T-Mobile Sidekick® 3 device and shall not include any voice plans, service plans, data plans or any other applicable fees which are necessary for use of the device.
2. In the event that there is an insufficient number of entries, Sponsor reserves the right not to award the prize.

This Sweepstakes is open to Continental U.S. residents, ages 9-12. Employees, and their immediate family members living in the same household, of Sponsor, its subsidiaries, affiliated and parent companies or the agencies of any of them and/or the author(s) are not eligible for this Sweepstakes. Void where prohibited by law. All state and local restrictions apply.

1. No substitution, transfers or assignments of prizes allowed. In the event of unavailability, Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value.
2. All expenses, including taxes (if any), on receipt and use of prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.
3. Winner may be required to execute an Affidavit of Eligibility and Release (“Affidavit”) and if so, the Affidavit must be completed and returned within fourteen (14) days of notification or another winner will be selected. If a selected winner is under eighteen (18) years of age, his/her parent or legal guardian will be required to sign the Affidavit. Should the ARV of the prize equal or exceed $600.00, Winners shall be required to provide a Social Security Number or a Taxpayer Identification Number to Sponsor for issuance of a 1099 Form.
4. 4. By accepting the prize, winner grants to Sponsor the right to use his/her name, likeness, hometown and biographical information in advertising and promotion materials, including posting on the Sponsor’s website, without further compensation or permission, except where prohibited by law.
5. 5. By competing in this Sweepstakes and/or accepting the prize, winner releases Sponsor, its subsidiaries, affiliated and parent companies or the advertising agencies of any of them and the author(s) of any books promoted hereby from any and all liability for any loss, harm, injuries, damages, cost or expense arising out of or relating to participation in this Sweepstakes or the acceptance, use or misuse of the prize.
6. Any dispute arising from this Sweepstakes will be determined according to the laws of the State of New York, without reference to its conflict of law principles, and the entrants consent to the personal jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in New York County and agree that such courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction over all such disputes.
