OFFICIAL RULES FOR THE JUDY BLUME 35TH ANNIVERSARY SWEEPSTAKES

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A PURCHASE WILL NOT ENHANCE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING.

Open to legal Continental U.S. residents, ages 7-15.

How to Enter:

1. To enter the Judy Blume 35th Anniversary Sweepstakes ("Sweepstakes"), review these rules and print out the entry form or fill out the Sweepstakes entry form from an in-store display. Send a completed entry form to Penguin Young Readers Marketing, 345 Hudson Street, New York, NY 10014, Attn: Judy Blume 35th Anniversary Sweepstakes. Entries must be postmarked by May 31, 2007 and received by June 7, 2007. No mechanically reproduced or computer generated entries allowed. Limit one entry per person.
2. Entries are void if they are in whole or in part illegible, incomplete or damaged. No responsibility is assumed for late, lost, damaged, incomplete, illegible, postage due or misdirected entries.
3. Penguin Group (USA) Inc. ("Sponsor") and its subsidiaries, affiliated and parent companies are not responsible for technical malfunctions of any kind which may limit the ability to play or participate, or by any human error which may occur in the processing of the entries in this Sweepstakes. If for any reason the Sweepstakes is not capable of being conducted as described in these rules, Sponsor shall have the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes.

1. From all eligible entries received, one (1) winner will be chosen in a random drawing held on or about June 8, 2007 by Sponsor, whose decisions concerning all matters related to this Sweepstakes are final and binding.
2. Winner will be notified by mail and/or telephone. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

1. One (1) winner will receive a signed collection of five (5) Judy Blume books including Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing, Fudge-a-Mania, Superfudge, Double Fudge, and Otherwise Known as Sheila the Great (Approximate Retail Value ("ARV"): $30.00) and a $1,000.00 savings bond.
2. In the event that there is an insufficient number of entries, Sponsor reserves the right not to award the prize.

This Sweepstakes is open to legal Continental U.S. residents, ages 7-15. Employees, and their immediate family members living in the same household of Sponsor, its subsidiaries, affiliated and parent companies, or the agencies of any of them and/or author(s) are not eligible for this Sweepstakes. Void where prohibited by law. All state and local restrictions apply.

1. No substitutions, transfers or assignments of prizes is allowed. In the event of unavailability, Sponsor may substitute a prize of equal or greater value.
2. All expenses, including taxes on receipt and use of prize are the sole responsibility of the winner.
3. Winner may be required to execute an Affidavit of Eligibility and Release ("Affidavit"), which must be returned within fourteen (14) days of notification or another winner will be selected. If a selected winner is under eighteen (18) years of age, his/her parent or legal guardian will be required to sign the affidavit.
4. By accepting the prize, winner grants to Sponsor the right to use their name, likeness, hometown and biographical information in advertising and promotion materials, including posting on Sponsor's website, without further compensation or permission, except where prohibited by law.
5. By competing in this Sweepstakes and/or accepting the prize, winner releases Sponsor, its subsidiaries, affiliated and parent companies or the advertising agencies of any of them from any and all liability for any loss, harm, injuries, damages, cost or expense, arising out of or relating to participation in this Sweepstakes or the acceptance, use or misuse of the prize.
6. Any dispute arising out of this Sweepstakes will be determined according to the laws of the State of New York, without reference to its conflict of law principles, and the entrants consent to the personal jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in New York County and agree that such courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction over all such disputes.
