Over the weekend, fans of comic books, fantasy, science-fiction, and everything in between flooded the floors of the Jacob Javits Center to attend the 2009 New York Comic-con. Penguin authors such as Amber Benson, Lev Grossman, Marjorie M. Liu, Graham Roumieu, Tom Sniegoski, Michael P. Spradlin, and Anton Strout were in attendance to meet fans, sign autographs, and participate in panels.
At the Penguin booth, fans stopped by to collect Jim Butcher buttons, Eon posters, Star Wars samplers, and browse through books by Charlaine Harris, J.R. Ward, John Flanagan, and others. A limited number of lucky fans were able to pick up advance copies of upcoming books by Anton Strout (Deader Still), Lev Grossman (The Magicians), and Marjorie M. Liu (The Iron Hunt).
In case you missed it, never fear—Penguin will be back in action at the San Diego Comic-con!
