Are You Like Most Guys?, by Nate Green:

(View entire post here)

Most guys are physically weak and only "work out" when they're feeling particularly bad about staying up all night drinking and oogling women they'd never have a chance with.

Most guys spend more money on beer than they do on quality food. (And it's piss-beer at that.)

Most guys have absolutely no idea what kind of body women find attractive.

Most guys are in debt up to their eyeballs and have no way to get out. They then spend money on frivolous, materialistic crap and end up paying 18% interest on something that cost $9.50.

Most guys who have the means skimp on nice clothing and dress like homeless people.

What Women Want (in a body, at least), by Nate Green:

(View entire post here)

I'm going to ask you a question and I want you to give to me straight.

Why do you workout?

Why does any guy workout?

I'm going to go out on a limb here, and say you train because you want to look great clothed and even better naked. You train so you can hook up with girls.

So let's embrace our vanity for a moment while I propose an idea:

While most things concerning women seem to be a complete mystery -- why they need to have their mouths open to apply mascara, for example -- what attracts the average woman is fairly easy to decipher. You just have to know where to look. Or more important, where she's looking.

Two Drinks Deep And Writing for Money (What I learned in 2008), by Nate Green:

(View entire post here)

I don't believe in New Years' resolutions. They just seem so wussified, you know? Only lazy guys wait until a predetermined time to take initiative, change habits, or start something new. And the funny thing is, people who make these resolutions rarely stick to them. Hell, it's already mid-January and I'm willing to bet more than half of the people who've set their New Year's Resolutions have already given up.

What a waste of time. What a waste of life.

So instead of setting meaningless goals at the beginning of each year, I like to go back and think about what I've learned and what I plan on doing the following year. And unlike the physical counterpart, this mental masturbation actually leaves me feeling satisfied and not like a loser

Nate Green is one of our guest bloggers during the week of January 19th. If you have any questions for Nate Green, add a comment to any of his posts. Here is some more information about Built for Show:

Every guy is looking for an edge, some way to get single women his age to notice him more than they do now.

Unfortunately, most guys have absolutely no idea what kind of body automatically flips a girl's attraction switch. Nate Green does.

Built for Show is the first fitness book to address young men on the prowl. It’s not just written for them; it’s written by one of them. Green, who’s just twenty- three years old, is already a veteran fitness professional who’s been quoted in Men’s Health and Maximum Fitness magazines. Green offers four twelve- week workout programs, each with a seasonal theme. The fall and winter workouts add muscle size and strength that’ll show even under layers of clothing. The spring and summer workouts burn fat and chisel the showpiece muscles—creating a lean, cut, beach-ready physique.
