There were pages for Grimmer Tales that didnt make it or that were altered. Either they werent funny enough, confusing, or just too dirty. Heres the original Ugly Duckling:

Its very factual. Ducks dont hang out with swans. They dont play cards either, but thats beside the point. And here is what it is now:

Because the swan is still boring. Its not as if you can get pretty and POOF youre the most fantastic person alive. I guess it could have said then they wanted to hang out with the swan for all the wrong reasons. But thats not true. Ducks are upstanding citizens, people!

Now heres a comic that isnt in the book because its just a little too cheesy:
