A thrilling new series featuring seven immortal Spartan warriors protecting mankind- and confronting passion along the way...Eternity has become a prison for Ajax Petrakos. Centuries after he and his Spartan brothers made their bargain for immortality, Ajax struggles to maintain his warrior's discipline. His only source of strength is his hope that he will soon meet the woman once foretold to him--the other half of his soul, Shay Angel.
Ajax searches for his destined mate on the haunted streets of modern-day Savannah, but he isn't the first to find her. Shay, the youngest of a powerful demon-hunting clan, can see the monsters that stalk the steamy Southern nights--an ability that draws the deadly attention of Ajax's worst enemy. As Shay and Ajax race to solve a chilling prophecy--one that could spell Ajax's death if they don't succeed--a fated passion arises, threating to sweep away everything in its path.

Red Fire: I'm Hooked!
I just read an excerpt from Red Fire at your website. Wow, I'm hooked. This sounds like a great paranormal romance - one that gently simmers and then flares up into a full-on burn. I love books like this. Just added it to my Amazon shopping cart. Can't wait to see what happens with Shay and Ajax.
Sooo Excited for next book!
Okay--I'm in the middle of the Christmas craze and I picked up this book.
NOT good timing! I couldn't put it down!
I'm a reestablishing fan of Deidre's. I read her a lot when I was a teen thru Silhouette's line and just stumbled over her again. I'm so glad I'm back!
This was a GREAT story. I loved it and the whole mosquitoes thing is ON TARGET. Made me remember the opening scene. Even as she's in unbearable pain at her Mama's gravesite, there's that little lurking bit of humor. So like real life.
And I'm very much like Shay--those little buggers love me.
Loved this Blog post--something endearing to me when I read an author talk about her characters much like I do with my own. LOL It's comforting to know that my crazy may be shared with other authors. LOL
Thanks so much for giving me this read, Ms. Knight. It's nice to have you back on my keeper shelf.
