Hi everyone, I want to welcome you to my Reality Diet blog for this week. I hope that everyone takes some time to ask me some questions about weight, health, or exercise. Also if you have any experiences to share about Reality Diet or losing weight in general, I would love to hear from you.
I have had a lot of fun and have worked very hard over this past year promoting Reality Diet and the rewards have been great. People have really found the plan easy and simple to implement into their daily lives. This week I plan to share with you some of those everyday tips and ideas for losing weight and getting healthy. So let’s get started.
I know that many families have both parents working and the kids also carry busy schedules of their own, so one of the common reasons I hear from families that have become overweight is that the time simply isn’t there to prepare healthy meals and eat them. Many families who have implemented the Reality Diet into their lives have told me how simple it is to use the 2:90 rule into quick easy meals that can be eaten on the run. Unlike many other plans, families do not have to rearrange their schedules in order to eat healthy. If parents have to run to night practices or sporting events, they can have a quick, healthy bite to eat and not worry about cooking a full meal. In addition, the foods are foods that work for all family members, not just the adults. Why teach kids that bananas are bad for them? Every fruit and vegetable is on the Reality Diet- it teaches them to eat a variety of foods or a "rainbow" of fruits and veggies. There are not a lot of LIMITATIONS on this plan; it teaches them just use different products, in order to get a healthier result.
Most of all it helps keep the family on track, healthy, and gives everyone lots of energy to get through a long day full of work, school, and extracurricular activities.
Here is an example of a great breakfast on the go:
- Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich: 2 slices of light bread, 1 tbsp. of natural peanut butter, and 1 tbsp. of sugar free jelly- you cut out 200 calories just by using different products. Add a piece of fruit and a yogurt and you have a complete meal.
How about dinner on the go:
- Turkey Caesar wrap: 1 2:90 wrap, 5oz turkey breast, chopped romaine lettuce, tomato, cucumber, and fat free Caesar dressing.
Have great day and I will talk with you tomorrow.
