In fact,, although I have never heard your two Palin rumors the way you said them, two of them have some substance and relevance.
1. As mayor, Palin did ask the librarian what she would do if Palin asked her to ban some books. The librarian said that she would not ban books. The librarian was fired, although the books were not mentioned as the reason.
2. Palin's husband was a registered member of an Alaska seperatists party.
