Continuing with our introductions, today we profile Katy Ball and Sarah Hayes, two members of the Imprint who's disparate jobs are united by their passion for books and DK. Without further ado:

Katy Ball, Publicist
In her role as the US Publicist for DK Eyewitness Travel and Rough Guides, Katy Ball endeavors to convince the traveling public that travel guidebooks do in fact make trips more pleasurable and meaningful. She sends out review copies and press releases to media contacts and generally deals with all things PR-related, including author events, online contests, and the occasional ad. Katy is also responsible for publicizing Rough Guides' many pop culture reference titles, from books that start with G's, like Graphic Novels and Genes & Cloning to those that address the dead and famous (and begin with V's and S's), such as The Velvet Underground and Shakespeare.
