Target Picks Three Cups of Tea and The Russian Concubine for "Bookmarked" Book Club

Fantastic news for Kate Furnivall's debut novel, The Russian Concubine (Berkley), and Three Cups of Tea by Greg Mortenson and David Oliver Relin (Penguin), as they were both selected by Target for its "Bookmarked" book club, with a special nine-week promotion to begin in mid-October and run through the end of the year at the front of the book department in all Target stores. Additionally, these titles will then be featured on a book club "end-cap" until November 2008. This is the first time ever that Target has chosen two titles for this program simultaneously and Three Cups of Tea represents Target's first nonfiction book club pick.
