about Garrison Keillor
Garrison Keillor is the host and writer of A Prairie Home Companion and host of the daily program The Writer's Almanac. The author of sixteen books, including the Lake Wobegon novels, a collection of stories called The Book of Guys, and the political tract Homegrown Democrat. Keillor is also the editor of two poetry anthologies, Good Poems and Good Poems for Hard Times. His syndicated column, "The Old Scout", is seen in papers coast to coast. Garrison is a member of the Academy of American Arts and Letters, and lives in St. Paul, Minnesota.
