When I write romantic suspense, I aim to put a compelling hero and heroine into terrible peril. They're falling in love against a background of suspense and danger, while fighting an enemy sworn to destroy them. In my "Moon" series, the paranormal adds an edge of tension that fuels the plot.

With Dragon Moon, I think I've found the perfect couple in Talon Marshall and Kenna. He's a werewolf who lives in a hunting lodge in the Pennsylvania woods and leads wilderness expeditions for a living. She's the slave of Vandar, a terrible dragon shifter in my alternate universe, who sends her to our world to prepare for an invasion.

When Talon rescues her in a thunderstorm, they're immediately attracted to each other. But the wards Vandar has put into Kenna's mind force her to live a lie. And Talon knows that he's falling in love with a woman he can't trust. It's an impossible situation for both of them until Kenna hatches a desperate plan to share her frightening secret with the man she loves.

I had a wonderful time watching Talon and Kenna work out their personal problems and finally save civilization as we know it. And the book gave me a chance to introduce a new character, Ramsey Gallagher, who must decide whether to work with the Marshall family or destroy them. It all makes an exciting mix that I hope you'll enjoy reading.
