Paige Hemmis stars as designer/carpenter on ABC’s popular Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, now in its fourth season and the Emmy-Winner for Outstanding Reality Program. Paige is a self-taught carpenter who was discovered by Extreme producers after an appearance on Monster House as a competing carpenter (she won!). In addition to her television career, Paige is a successful businesswoman and entrepreneur (founder of Simply Elegant Weddings and Rent To Own Investments.) Paige is an official spokesperson for Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles, National Spokesperson for the 2006 Habitat Builders Blitz, and host committee member for Hollywood For Habitat For Humanity. Paige created Tuff Chix#153; merchandise inspired by her own experience in carpentry to meet the need for quality women's work products. The collection includes boots, gloves, toolbelts, and a series of do-it-herself books and videos including The Tuff Chix Guide to Easy Home Improvement.
