Arno Gasteiger

Arno Gasteiger was born in Austria and now lives with his family in Auckland. A former New Zealand Geographic photographer, He has exhibited in Australia, New Zealand, Austria and Germany, and has been awarded the Cathay Pacific Photographer of the Year and the American Express Photographer of the Year awards. Many of Arno Gasteiger works are held in collections in Europe, Australia and New Zealand. Gasteiger’s first photographic book, Central, was shortlisted for the Montana New Zealand Book Awards in 2004.
