More About C. Leigh Purtill

C. Leigh Purtill was born in Frankfurt, Germany and grew up in various towns on the east coast of the United States. She attended college at Mount Holyoke, where she received a BA in Anthropology with a minor in Dance, graduating magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa.

She received a Master’s degree in Film Production from Boston University, and moved to LA where she now works as a standards editor for such shows as The Gilmore Girls and 7th Heaven. (Yes, this means she gets to watch television for a living.)

One evening, Leigh was stuck in LA traffic, right in front of a billboard for Friends. That’s when she was inspired to write her first novel, LOVE, MEG.
