Thomas Weisser has an M.A. in
English and Communications from the University of Dayton. For twenty years after his
graduation in 1970, he was involved in the entertainment business and has been recognized
as one of the industry's top promotion consultants and record producers. In the early
1990s, he taught at Miami Dade University in Florida. Today he edits his own magazine,
Asian Cult Cinema, and is the co-author, with his wife, Yukia Mihara, of
various books on Asian film.
