DR. LINDACOLVIN RHODES is the former Secretary of Aging for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. She was nominated by President Clinton as deputy commissioner of the Social Security Administration and has written numerous articles, studies, and reports on aging and eldercare in the United States. Dr. Rhodes has extensive experience in government and practical applications of health care and public health—and personally cared for her own ailing grandmother at home.
