About David Lewis
Books by David Lewis

David Lewis

Dr David Lewis is a Chartered Psychologist, best-selling author and award-winning broadcaster. He is a fellow of both the International Stress Management Association and the Institute of Directors, a member of the Marketing Society, the Market Research Society and the Institute of Direct Marketing.

After studying medicine, David Lewis became a magazine journalist covering stories in Europe, the Middle East and Northern Ireland. It was his experience in Ireland that led to his decision to return to university to read psychology, obtaining his doctorate from the Department of Experimental Psychology at the University of Sussex. After lecturing there he left to set up his own research consultancy. A specialist in stress, his early books examined both stress and anxiety in children. Later, he began working with major multinational companies such as British Airways, British Telecom and IBM on staff development programmes. He is also a broadcaster and programme maker for both television and radio, and his series on the psychology of sporting partnerships for BBC radio won a prestigious Sony Award.

His recent books include Ten-Minute Time and Stress Management and How to Get Your Message Across. His latest book, The Soul of the New Consumer, will be published later this year.
