Hugh Honour is the author of Neo-Classicism and Romanticism both published by Penguin in the 'Style and Civilisation' series of which he and John Fleming are the editors. He has also written Chinoiserie: The Vision of Cathay, The Companion Guide to Venice and The Image of the Black in Western Art, from the American Revolution to World War I, for which he received the Anisfield-Wolf Book Award in Race Relations. He is a FBA and a FRSL.
