More About James Campbell

James Campbell, FBA, FSA, studied at Magdalen college, Oxford. He has been Fellow of Worcester College since 1957, a university lecturer in modern history at Oxford since 1958 and is now a Reader in Medieval History. He was also Visiting Professor at the University of South Carolina in 1969 and at the University of Rochester in 1986-7. His other publications include Norwich (1975) and Essays in Anglo-Saxon History (1986).
